Deadline Extended – UNESCO-Hamdan Prize for Teacher Development (2025–2026)
The Pakistan National Commission for UNESCO (PNCU) is pleased to announce that the deadline for submissions to the UNESCO-Hamdan Prize for Teacher Development (2025–2026), supported by the Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation, has been extended until 31 January 2026. This prestigious international Prize recognizes innovative, impactful, and sustainable initiatives that contribute to improving teaching practices, teacher development, and the professional growth of educators worldwide. Three laureates will be selected, and each will receive USD 100,000. Educational institutions, teacher training organizations, NGOs, networks, and initiatives demonstrating measurable improvement in the quality of teaching and teacher education. Applicants who require a nomination letter from PNCU are advised to submit their request no later than 31 December 2025, to allow sufficient time for national review, vetting, and issuance of the endorsement. 31 January 2026: Extended deadline for online submissions via the nomination platform. 31 December 2025: Last date to request nomination letter issuance from PNCU.
