11th Global Capacity-Building Workshop (GCBW) on Global Citizenship Education (GCED)
Under the theme “Forging Educators’ Collective Power: GCED for Human-Centered Learning in the AI Era,” the workshop aims to bring together educators from around the world to explore how Global Citizenship Education can foster human-centered learning in the age of Artificial Intelligence while remaining grounded in local contexts. Applications are invited from educators with relevant experience and a demonstrated interest in Global Citizenship Education (GCED). Applicants are required to submit: Recommendation Letter Prerequisite Course Certificate (GCED Online Campus) Draft Action Plan (prescribed template) Brief Curriculum Vitae (CV) Selected participants will receive: Round-trip international airfare Accommodation (twin-sharing basis) Meals Workshop materials Field visits Please note: No daily allowance (DSA) will be provided. Interested candidates are requested to submit the required documents to the Pakistan National Commission for UNESCO (PNCU) for endorsement and onward nomination. Nomination by PNCU does not guarantee selection. Final selection of participants will be made by the APCEIU Screening Committee based on the overall assessment of applications. The Asia-Pacific Centre of Education for International Understanding (APCEIU) invites applications for the 11th Global Capacity-Building Workshop (GCBW) on Global Citizenship Education (GCED), to be held from 21–28 August 2026 in Seoul, Republic of Korea.
