The Pakistan National Commission for UNESCO (PNCU) is pleased to share that nominations are now open for the UNESCO-Hamdan Prize for Teacher Development (2025–2026), supported by the Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation.

This prestigious Prize recognizes innovative and impactful initiatives that contribute to improving teaching practices and teacher education worldwide.

 Award

• Three laureates will each receive USD 100,000.

Key Deadlines

• 10 October 2025 (Paris time): Deadline for online submissions via the nomination platform, allowing sufficient time for review and evaluation by PNCU.

• 31 October 2025: Final UNESCO deadline.

Educational institutions, organizations, and initiatives that demonstrate measurable impact in advancing the quality of teaching and teacher education.
