Call for nominations for the UNESCO/Jikji Memory of the World Prize

UNESCO has announced a call for nominations for the 11th edition of the UNESCO/Jikji Memory of the World Prize. The Prize aims to promote documentary heritage as a common good of humanity and is funded by the Republic of Korea. It carries a monetary award of US$40,000 and is presented biennially to individuals, institutions, or nongovernmental organizations that have made significant contributions to the preservation and accessibility of documentary heritage.

 

Nominations may be submitted in English or French, with a maximum of three candidates per submission. Each nomination should include a summary of the work, alongwith relevant publications or supporting documents demonstrating how the nominee’s actions have contributed to safeguarding and enhancing access to documentary heritage. Nominations must be submitted by 30 April 2026 to:
