The Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ICESCO) has announced Calls for Applications under the ICESCO Chairs Programme for the establishment of the following academic Chairs:

•           ICESCO Chair of International Law and Cultural Property

•           ICESCO Chair for Environmental Rights

•           ICESCO Chair on Law, Intellectual Property and Artificial Intelligence

About the Programme

The ICESCO Chairs Programme aims to strengthen higher education and research institutions through:

•           Academic cooperation

•           Joint research initiatives

•           Capacity-building activities

•           Knowledge exchange within ICESCO’s areas of competence

These Chairs align with ICESCO’s priority areas, including:

•           Cultural heritage protection

•           Environmental rights

•           Legal and regulatory frameworks

•           Sustainable development

•           Institutional capacity development

Interested institutions are encouraged to:

•           Coordinate with the Pakistan National Commission for UNESCO (PNCU)
