Nominations are invited for the 10th Edition of the UNESCO–Equatorial Guinea International Prize for Research in the Life Sciences, which honors outstanding scientific research and innovation that advances human health and well-being.
About the Prize
The Prize is awarded to individuals, institutions, or non-governmental organisations for exceptional contributions in the life sciences and carries a total prize amount of USD 300,000, to be shared among up to three laureates. Each UNESCO Member State may submit up to five nominations through its National Commission for UNESCO. Self-nominations are not admissible.
Online Nomination System
Nominees are required to register and submit their application through UNESCO’s official online nomination system for this Prize .

Submission through PNCU
Interested candidates and institutions are requested to submit their requests for endorsement to the Pakistan National Commission for UNESCO (PNCU) by 15 March 2026, along with the following documents:

Recommendation/endorsement letter from the parent department or institution
Complete nominations will be processed by PNCU for onward submission to UNESCO. The final deadline for submission to UNESCO is 31 March 2026 (midnight, UTC+1).
